Here is my one more adventure with baking...Now a days I am enjoying this baking very much..and wants to try more and more new items...when ever I read any baking recipe from other blogger,,I will think about how to make the same thing by using different ingredients..(not main ingredient) and make it different from others....this is one of those recipe,.which I would like to share with every one..
Ingredients:
Group A
Fresh Dill finely chopped 2cup
Onion 1 medium finely chopped
Olive oil 2 TBSP
Melted unsalted Butter 2TBSP
2-3TBSP milk for brushing
unsalted butter 1TBSP (for brushing)(optional)
Group B
All purpose flour 1 1/2cup
Rice flour 3/4 cup
salt 1/2tsp or as per taste
Crushed pepper 1/2tsp
Fast action yeast 1TBSP
sugar 1tsp
milk powder 1TBSP
Preparation:
Heat oil (1/2TBSP)add chopped onion and fry till it is translucent, then add chopped Dill and fry till tender ,then turn of the heat...cool it down.
In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients under group B..
mix well now add oil ,butter and cooked Dill.
again mix,,now gradually add water and mix the flour...knead well to make smooth and non-sticky dough.
Cover with a plastic sheet and keep aside for an hour(or till it will become double).
Once done take out the dough and knead for a min.and make 4-5 equal balls.
Roll it on a rolling pin to rectangle shape(about 1/2 ").Cut it in to 5-6 equal part..like below..
and shape them in to stick...make different designs...(fold and roll in different way)..I made 3 kinds like below...
Brush them with milk...keep it in the pan..
...start the machine,,use extra bake option..and bake them for about 25 mins or till it turns to golden brown..then stop the machine and take out from the pan..brush with butter.keep aside to cool down...
The yummy bread stick and rolls are ready to eat.......serve with a cup of tea......really yummy...
Note: as my pan is small ,,I had to make 3 batches to bake..so it took about 1hour 30 mins to finish...I brush the butter only to bread roll,,which will make them soft ..and not brushed anything to stick
